I want you to introduce Emilio and His Family(Enclosed a picture of his and His family). My relationship with people have changed a little bit here. I am translating from English into Spanish for a Pastor who is "Weird" in the concept of relationships.
Since I came back from Lima in March. I voluntered my time to help people out. I cooked, went to Hospital to get an appoitment, traveled to Tres Unidos in a missionary trip, teaching English to kids. Emilio is a former High School Teacher and is a current Beekeeper. His Son Pablo is in Yurimaguas, a city east of Tarapoto. He traveled 4 weeks ago for His Nursing internship. He will be there about a year.
Also I want to let you know we have political problem in our State or region of San Martin. There is a strike taking place. We do not know how long will last. Our roads have been blocked today by farmers. So there is no traffic coming in and out in mayor cities of San Martin. (Moyobamba, Tarapoto, Bellavista, Juanjui etc) Tarapoto city , the largest and most dynamic city is facing the problem.
Emilio and I have planned to be in Tres Unidos this week until May 30. It seems we wont be there after. But We have no idea how long will take this protest. Hopefully He will provide the way to go back to Tres Unidos eventually.
Personal
I had several attacks of the enemy during my sleep,a week ago. I couldn't sleep well for about a whole week. This was after I passed by a "couple" (a man standing by the motocar, two "persons" sitting) who were in a motocar having sex. It was in my way back home. I saw sexual scenes before arriving to them. I shocked. MAN-MAN, WOMAN-MAN, A man with other three, Who knows what they were? I do not know. It is worst than seeing a ghost.
I talked to Emilio and let me tell you something. I am not used to see what I saw that night. It was gross and nasty...because I thought it was a possible assalt. Because It was dark section of my way. I was walking to home.
After this happened. I could not pray, read, sing and do my normal devotion. In my dreams I had bad images...It was crazy! By the grace of God, I am overcoming what I saw these days.
To Confort me. Emilio told me that he also saw a diffeent scene before as well. He told me as I shared my experience. In his case was a girl. Well, He thought it was a girl but a Homosexual man on women clothes standing by a road as he drove His motocycle back home. He really thought it was a girl. His questions was...what in the world a "girl" is doing in the street with short clothes? His son clarified what he saw. Look, brothers...You have weird things in America but ours is sinful too. In America, you do not see much in the streets like here. Other men told me what it is "normal".
You know what? I can not avoid to watch by accident...but I do not like those images stay in my head like stikers. I pray God and want the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse my mind from things that I saw.
I live by a road where young people go to have sex with no caring who is around. Because I live far from the city...sexual addicts think they are "safe". After 2 days, my friend Orlando told me that happens oftenly some kilometers far where I live. Because it is silence and dark.
Please pray for me. and Wouldyou like to pray for Emilio and His Family as well?.
A special Prayer for my return to Ameica. I miss Starbucks, The Public Libraries, the services and churches, friends and the malls, the food and car driving. I miss many things that you can not imagine. Would the LORD provide the funds, the affidavit of Support and the required visa fees be provided?
